
I have worked in clerical/administrative support, in sales and customer service in travel as a Vacation Travel Consultant, in Admissions with Hospice.
My skills and experience include:
Coordinating monthly educational programs on environmental and conservation issues for two years for the Sierra Club in Nashville, serving on their Excom Committee and leading occasional group day hike outings and outings to regional archaeological sites.
Volunteering in cat care and socialization at the Humane Society.
Initiating promotional opportunities by researching special interest groups, local specialty publications and venues. Creating promotional material and coordinated advertising and coordinated mass mail/email promotions.
Coordinating travel presentations for the public with myself as guest speaker or by arranging vendor participation. Creating event promotional materials, coordinating event promotion setup. Creating a special interest travel newsletter.

I've had the good fortune to travel to archaeological ruins in Peru, Mexico, Honduras and Greece, stay in an ecolodges in the Caribbean and Thailand, cruise in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Greek Islands and Alaska, explore native cultures in the Southwestern U.S. and Alaska, experience beautiful scenery in Hawaii & Canada, visit Hilltribes in Thailand, indigenous peoples in Nicaragua, shrines in Japan, Normandy and World War II sites in France, cruise the Mediterranean and the Greek islands.
